Thanks to numerous corona measures, the concert of the Würth Philharmonic Orchestra could take place as a replacement for the cancelled summer concert.
Together with the French soloist Gautier Capucon, the Würth Philharmonic Orchestra took the stage at the Carmen Würth Forum in Künzelsau and presented a programme with works by Antonin Dvorák. The sophisticated hygiene concept provided distances for the audience as well as in the orchestra. The entire floor space of the hall was used for seating.
As in previous years, the VIVACE electronic room acoustics system was temporarily installed to ensure optimal room acoustics. The support of VIVACE 3D was very important this year, especially because of the wide seating throughout the hall and an extra-wide stage of 24 meters. The system made it possible to create a transparent, natural orchestral sound right into the periphery of the audience, which above all ensured a balanced and rich string sound.
The extremely wide stage also created more difficult conditions for the musicians, which we were able to improve thanks to the flexibility of the electronic orchestra shell, thus enabling the musicians to make music in a pleasant way.
Due to the special circumstances this year, it was unfortunately not possible for all interested parties to be present in person. We are therefore all the more looking forward to the Summer Concert 2021 and hope for an improvement of the whole situation by then, so that everyone will be able to attend this great event again.
