A temporary VIVACE installation

With the key message “Everyone can be a pioneer” the Dornier Museum Friedrichshafen makes 100 years of exciting aerospace history materialize as experience. The museum is home to almost 400 exhibits on 6,000 square metres, including 12 original aircraft and two full-scale aircraft replicas: the Dornier Merkur and Dornier Wal. With its fascinating exhibition area the Dornier Museum is also a popular event location.

On 5th December was the 50th anniversary of death of the aviation pioneer Prof. Dr. h. c. Claude Dornier. On the occasion of this day the Dornier Foundation arranged a remarkable homage in the Dornier Museum in Friedrichshafen. A review of his life and work was shown that evening accompanied with chamber music by Prof. Margarita Höhenrieder-Dornier and Prof. Julius Berger performing Beethoven’s works for cello and piano.

In order to transform the acoustically dry museum hall into a lively chamber music hall the electronic room acoustic system VIVACE was temporarily installed.
