MiR equipped with new VIVACE! Even back in the 1950s, when it was still known as Städtische Bühnen Gelsenkirchen, the Musiktheater im Revier (MiR) was one of the most important stages in the German-speaking countries. In February 2024, the VIVACE system in the main auditorium was equipped with new hardware and software and recalibrated from scratch.

With their almost 400-year-old tradition, the world-famous Passion plays attract around half a million spectators to the tranquil village in the Bavarian Alps.
