The new 115,000 m² Shanghai Library East is located in Pudong District – the area of the city known for its iconic skyline, and sits immediately next to Century Park – the largest park in the city spread over 140 hectares. There are seven floors above the ground and two floors underground. After opening, 6,000 seats can be provided to meet the cultural needs of more than 200 lectures and thousands of academic activities every year. The annual reception of readers can reach 4 million people. It is a modern and advanced “compound library”.
Among them, there are about 750 seats large lecture halls. Considering the multi-functional use requirements, it can meet the multi-functional requirements of reports and speeches, academic events, film appreciation, art performances and so on.
In order to meet the acoustic needs of various events, a set of Vivace acoustic enhancement system is installed in the hall. The system consists of main and standby vivace 64 processing main Frames, 24 microphones, 44 KME loudspeakers and a Directout Prodigy.MC format converotr and audio matrix.
